Service purpose and stewardship
This private staging site is available for authorized testing. Regional enrollment is not open. The intended service is a short-term connection between people leaving treatment and A.A. members who introduce them to meetings and fellowship. It does not provide treatment, counseling, emergency services, employment, housing, money, legal help or a taxi service.
Enrollment and communication
The prepared online enrollment flow requires confirmation of age 18 or older. This is a service enrollment safeguard, not an age requirement for A.A. membership. A regional alternative for people unable to use this form must be arranged before launch.
Submitting a phone number alone does not authorize coordination texts. The form records your SMS consent. Messages support verification, requests and matching; frequency may vary and carrier rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Review the privacy policy for the newcomer-number handoff and records kept by the service and its providers.
How the site is stewarded
This site is maintained independently. Consultation with an A.A. sponsor or service sponsor can help stewardship, but does not establish an informed group conscience or authority to speak for A.A., a district or an area. The appropriate service bodies should consider regional scope, adoption, access, retention, incident response and change responsibility before regional launch.
A technical review or security improvement is not A.A. certification or service-body approval. The Twelve Traditions and Concepts inform the stewardship discussion; software cannot substitute for it.
